When Helen was 1 and a half years old she had gotten a virus which was unknown which had turned her deaf and blind. Even though Helen was deaf and blind she still used her senses to get around. She would get tantrums really easily when someone couldn't understand her. When Helen's parents saw that school wasn't helping her very much they hired a tutor, Annie Sullivan who was also once blind, but had gotten surgery to see again. Ms.Sullivan played a big role in the life of Helen Keller. For example, she taught Helen how to show kindness to others, always be brave and help others who need help. Also, she educated Helen to be smart. Ms.Sullivan was a great influence on Helen.
Also, Helen's family played a big role in Helen's life too. Her parents helped her when she needed help and always fixed problems for her and took care of her as a parent. They always stayed together with her when she was sick.

Nature is very important to Helen Keller. We have huge description of the outside. When she freaks out, she can take a break and feel what nature has to bring. The feeling was very strong. It calmed her down and let her mind think.

Nature plays a huge role in Keller’s education. This is due to her using nature to start to understand what the world is about. It is also one of the places Hellen Keller goes to chill out and relax when she is having a hard time. It helped Hellen Keller grow as a person as well. She learned what the world felt like.
