In a recent situation that occurred in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, a 6 year-old girl and her family that were on vacation were visiting the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. The girl was riding on the “Haunted Mine Drop”, where it was a drop ride that goes 110 feet deep inside a mountain. The incident didn’t provide any details on what had happened or what caused her death. This incident has closed out the ride for the next week until they have cleared up on what had gone wrong and deeply ask to plead your prayers. Until the coroner’s office determines what really gave the death out to the girl, we'll just need to wait out and stay safe.
Hurricane Ida's remnants flood parts of the U.S. Northeast. It was not supposed to raise the water level so fast, but in New York city water is up to 7 inches. The storm caused many Northeastern states to call a state of emergency because of the flood. They have not done this in over 20 years. State officials say that over 26 deaths are to blame for this storm. A giant tree in California, named the sequoias tree is over 275 ft tall. But right now, extreme fires are threatening their lives. The last military plane from Afghanistan the US left around midnight on the 31st of August deadline. It was the end of a 19 year run in Afghanistan. When the US finally left, the Taliban, (who was leading Afghanistan after Afghanistan's government collapsed), declared victory over the US. The US military said that there was not enough time to evacuate all the Americans from Afghanistan. The Taliban now rules over Afghanistan and last time they ruled, they made very strict rules like believing in Islam. Our very first topic is about the last U.S. military aircraft to leave Afghanistan. It departed just before midnight on Monday, at end of August, exactly as scheduled by the Biden administration. It signals the longest military conflict, the 22-year-long Afghanistan war. The Taliban, who is in all this conflict, had the ceremony on the airport which U.S. Soldiers and staff already evacuated a few months ago, and their goal is to kill everyone who does not tries to follow Islam.
