8 people are invited to an island and they have something all in common. They all committed some kind of sin. However, once they enter the island, one by one, they keep dying. Perishing for mysterious reasons. Such as poison, axe, getting shoved off a cliff and more. They try to find out who the murderer is, talking during dinner, some saying its suicide, some saying its not. When there is only two left, Vera thinks the killer is Lombard since they are the last two left, but it wasn't him. It was actually Wargrave! He was sneaky enough to fake his own death! He comes back and kills himself after Vera died.

Eight strangers who have each committed a serious sin are invited to an island by someone named “Mr. Owen”. One by one, each person starts to die mysteriously and coincidentally, die in a way that matches a nursery rhyme. Also, before someone dies, one mini figure of an Indian disappears. The remaining people try to come up with a plan to survive and stick together, however soon Vera and Lombard are the last 2 survivors and Vera ends up taking Lombard’s gun and shoots him, killing him. Vera then has the sudden urge to hang herself, and later in a letter, Judge Wargrave confesses to planning all the murders.

Their names were Judge Wargrave, Vera, Philip, Dr. Armstrong, William Blore, Emily, Thomas, General McArthur, Mr. Rogers, and Mrs. Rogers. Anthony died first by someone who put Potassium inside of his whiskey. After his death, more people's deaths were coming. Mrs. Rogers died while she was sleeping, General McArthur died because he got hit by an ax, and Dr. Armstrong was shoved off of a cliff. Then, there were two people left who were Vera and Lombard. The 8 strangers are a judge ,babysitter, doctor, detective , an old lady ,a couple, and 2 others, After dinner, a voice starts accusing people of murder, at the dinner table.
