VIP Membership - VIP Social Club
 

The VIP Center offers membership to our visually impaired clients and their families
Included with VIP Center membership, the member will belong to the VIP Social Club.

The VIP Social Club is organized by the Board of Directors of the VIP Center. Membership is $6 per year, and business meetings are held every second and fourth Saturday of each month.

The VIP Social Club has a Social Event every second Saturday of each month for its VIP members. 

Entertainment, such as live Bagpipers are provided at this event. Food and drinks are also provided. The cost is $4 per person, and reservations are highly recommended, due to limited seating.

The VIP Member also will receive our monthly newsletter. The VIP Newsletter has member information, committee updates, the VIP President's message, and any Board of Directors information, such a open positions or election results.

VIP has a variety of programs to assist the visually impaired. We offer classes in Activities of Daily Living, Braille, Eccentric Viewing Training (Reading), Assistive Technology Training (computers, etc.) We have a part time Optometrist who specializes in Low Vision. We also have a Low Vision Lab with high tech equipment to aid our low vision clients. We specialize in one-on-one training in Orientation and Mobility classes.

VIP Center offers unique Social Services for clients and their families in providing counseling, information and valuable resources to better cope with vision loss. We counsel in groups (as part of a class), on an individual basis, or through family support groups.
 

We offer complete rehabilitation for independent living for Visually Impaired Persons.
